Shipping policy

POSTAGE COSTS & DELIVERY TIMES 

We'll ship your items to you as quickly as possible using Australian Post. Please note shipping times might be slightly delayed during peak sale periods. 

Domestic shipping is Free and International shipping is $20.

Here's a breakdown of estimated delivery times and cost (in AUD).

Domestic (1-4 business days) Free
New Zealand (2-3 business days) $10
International (2-4 business days) $20

TRACK YOUR DELIVERY

When your order has been shipped, we'll send you the tracking number so you can follow its progress.

 

SIGN FOR DELIVERY

Be sure to supply a shipping address where someone can sign for your delivery. Australian Post will leave a slip for you to pick up at the closest Australian Posts, if you are not available.

PREPARING YOUR ORDER

Please allow up to 6 business hours for us to get your order ready once placed. We fulfil orders from multiple locations, which means we can sometimes still track down your size, even if it's sold out on the website.

Generally, orders placed before 11am will ship that afternoon. 

 

INTERNATIONAL

Deliveries made Internationally arrive between 2 - 4 business days and will need a signature on delivery. Please supply your daytime, or work address.

If no one is available to sign for the package, a note will be left with details on how to arrange re-delivery or collection.

 

CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTY FEES

Every country has different rules about import duty and taxes. Please check what the rules are where you live, as you may need to pay duties to local government or customs officers to receive your order.

 

CURRENCY

All prices and payments made with The French Door are in Australian Dollars and include Australian GST (goods and services tax). If your order will be shipped outside Australia, this will be removed at checkout.

At checkout, your final purchase price and shipping amount will be displayed.

 

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

We do our best to make sure you get what you order, but sometimes things can go out of stock while we're getting things ready. If this happens, we'll be in touch to try and arrange a substitute item, or offer a full refund for the unavailable item.
